Rundeck CEO, Stephanie Fohn, Wins Gold for Women in IT at 2018 IT World Awards®. Rundeck grabs Bronze for Best Startup.

Redwood City, CA – August 28, 2018Rundeck Inc., the modern IT operations platform provider, today announced that Network Products Guide, the industry’s leading technology research and advisory guide, has named Stephanie Fohn, president & CEO of Rundeck, a gold winner in the 13th Annual IT World Awards in the Women in IT Category.  Rundeck was also named bronze winner in the Startup of the Year – 2015 category. These industry and peer recognitions from Network Products Guide are the world's premier information technology awards honoring achievements and recognitions in every facet of the IT industry.

Rundeck began in 2010 as an open source scheduling and orchestration platform project that is still available today. Under Fohn’s leadership, the company recently launched a commercial offering, Rundeck Enterprise, an enterprise-grade solution that includes a host of features and functionality to support modern operations organizations. The platform’s ‘Operations as a Service’ approach stitches together disparate automation technologies and breaks down technology silos, while maximizing existing business investments in operations resources and technology. Unlike traditional orchestration and automation tools, Rundeck offers IT ops teams a simple framework to create and run new and legacy processes across complex technology environments and share them across the organization.

“At Rundeck, we’re on a mission to help relieve the pressures that today’s operations organizations face, so they can support the demands of DevOps, Cloud, and digital transformation initiatives across the enterprise,” said Ms. Fohn. “I am humbled to be recognized as top winner in the Women in IT category, and we are thrilled, as a company, to be recognized with the IT World Award in the Startup of the Year – 2015 category. This accolade is a true testament to the impact the Rundeck platform has had in addressing operations team challenges and the opportunity we have as a company to innovate and elevate operations as an essential component of an enterprise IT strategy.”
