Rundeck Appoints Veteran IT Executive Josh Pollock as Vice President of Sales
Redwood City, CA – September 19, 2018 – Rundeck Inc., the modern IT operations platform provider, today announced it has appointed Josh Pollock as Vice President of Sales. Pollock will be responsible for driving the company’s direct sales team to support global adoption of Rundeck’s commercial offering, Rundeck Enterprise, an enterprise-grade self-service operations platform.
Pollock is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of high-technology industry experience, most recently serving as sales director for Vidder, an enterprise security solutions provider, where he led positioning, sales generation and partner marketing, enablement and management across the business. Prior to Vidder, Pollock held many senior roles at KACE, a leading IT automation platform for endpoint management, prior to its acquisition by Dell.
“Josh’s rich technology sales expertise will be a huge asset to Rundeck,” said Stephanie Fohn, president and CEO of Rundeck. “We’re excited to have Josh join our leadership team and look forward to working together to expand Rundeck’s global customer base.”
Rundeck began in 2010 as an open source scheduling and orchestration platform project that is still available today. The company’s recently launched commercial offering, Rundeck Enterprise, is an enterprise-grade solution that includes a host of management and security features and functionality to support modern operations organizations. The platform’s ‘Self-Service Operations’ approach stitches together disparate automation technologies and breaks down technology silos, while maximizing existing business investments in operations resources and technology. Unlike traditional orchestration and automation tools, Rundeck offers IT ops teams a simple framework to create and run new and legacy processes across complex technology environments and share them across the organization.
“Today’s Operations teams play a pivotal role in driving business growth and Rundeck makes it easy for these teams to leverage existing infrastructure technologies in order to meet availability, security and business requirements,” said Pollock. “I’m excited to help lead Rundeck into a new era as the Self-Service Operations company and support global adoption of Rundeck so Ops teams can support the demands of DevOps and digital transformation, without changing the way they work.”About Rundeck
