Full Stack Software Engineer

You will work with the core product development team and help design and handle the technical implementation for the Rundeck OSS core, Rundeck Pro Enterprise features and related plugins.

Responsibilities Include:

UI/UX Engineer

Remote or Redwood City, California

You will work with the core product development team and help design and develop for the RundeckOSS core, Rundeck Enterprise features and related plugins, and future projects.

To qualify for this position you must be proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, VueJS.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design user interfaces, comp designs, and wireframes
  • Focus on user experience (UX) to maximize usability in all designs, mock-ups and comps
  • Create user interfaces, using front-end code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and VueJS to interface with backend
  • Perform usability tests on interface design to ensure cross-browser compatibility
  • Provide design guidance on projects, make recommendations for improvements
  • Work with other engineers to apply style and user interface design to web applications
  • Administer quality assurance (QA) reviews where applicable Perform other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to work within timelines on multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment
  • Understanding of browsers capabilities and design constraints on the Web
  • Intermediate experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and VueJS

Solutions Engineer

The Solutions Engineer is a key role at Rundeck. Our Solutions Engineering team is a talented and passionate group of people who are helping Rundeck users redefine the work of operations in the Enterprise.

Day-to-Day activity includes:

  • Interacting with prospective customers to communicate how Rundeck works, how it is deployed, and the benefits to be gained by using Rundeck.
  • Working with current and prospective customers on applying Rundeck to solve their problems.
  • Working with prospective customers to develop and execute proof-of-concept evaluations.
  • Working with our Product Support and Customer Success teams to make sure that deployments are successful and customers are happy.
  • Help develop and document Rundeck solution patterns and demos.
  • Continually communicating with Product Management and Engineering on issues and opportunities that if addressed could improve the solution for customers.
  • This role is unique in that this is a key contributor to the pre- and post-sales process and facilitates transition from prospect to successful post-sales customer.

Professional Services Consultant

Remote or Redwood City, California

You will work with the sales, customer service and the core product development team and help design and deliver the professional services engagements and paid technical implementation for Rundeck customers. Familiarity with Rundeck OSS, Rundeck Pro Enterprise features and related plugins a significant plus.

Business Automation Engineer

Remote or Redwood City, California

Rundeck is building an internal data and business operations platform that will manage the full end-to-end flow of business activity — from lead acquisition to community management to inbound sales and marketing automation to customer success and back-office functions. The core features of this platform will be process automation and business analytics.

You will work with the business automation team on cross-discipline projects that will touch analytics, CRM, and marketing automation systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sales or marketing tools administration (depending on past experience and skillset), solution architecture, and integration with other tools
  • Collaborating with peers to design and automate marketing, sales, customer success, and back-office process
  • Staying on top of sales automation and marketing trends and developments (including Rundeck’s roadmap for usage)

Event Operations

In-person and online events continue to be critical to the growth and success of Rundeck’s community of users. You will be working within Rundeck’s marketing team, as well as the broader Rundeck team, to facilitate the success of Rundeck’s growing events calendar. Responsibilities include

  • Coordinate the execution of in-person events: working with event organizers to gather logistics requirements and ensure deadlines are met; coordinating 3rd party event vendors (booth vendors, a/v vendors, etc); booking hotel blocks and other travel for Rundeck attendees; developing booth staffing schedules and assignments; communicating details with Rundeck attendees to ensure event success.
  • Coordinate the execution of regular and special online events (webinars, “Office Hours”, “Ops Hero Spotlight”, etc.): schedule invites, coordinate rehearsal, set-up zoom webinar, follow-up posting of video and materials Execute sending marketing emails, social media postings, and website posts on pre-determined schedule prior to event and post event.

Renewals and Sales Order Specialist

Redwood City, California

Based in our headquarters in Redwood City, Rundeck is looking for a self-starting, responsible, highly-motivated Renewal and Sales Order Specialist who can work to ensure the high renewal rate of our existing customer base, identification of opportunities for upsell, and to help process new orders closed by the WW Sales Team. Your ability to drive business process, sustain and renew subscriptions, and effectively manage your time will contribute to our mutual success.

Responsibilities Include:

    • Ability to research original business transactions and details to prepare accurate renewal documentation.
    • Generating customer renewal proposals for both end users and resellers with a goal of delivering all renewal quotes a minimum of 90 days advance of expiration.
    • Own and manage the renewal process for assigned customers, meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives and quotas for renewal business.
    • Continue regular communications to follow up on renewal opportunities, and ensure renewals stay on track.
    • Answer customer sales questions around renewal ordering and contract resolution.
    • Work closely with WW Sales Team to escalate any upsell opportunities.
    • Track deals through paperwork revisions.
    • Review contracts and order paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
    • Ensure customer orders are processed in an efficient and timely manner. While processing orders, you will work to maintain effective communication with other individuals and departments as necessary.
    • Accurately enter deal information into Salesforce.com, ensuring the integrity of customer, order and renewal information.
    • Additional Order Entry tasks/projects, as needed.
